At Holy Bagel we place great importance on providing equal, respectful and accessible service to all customers and visitors, including people with disabilities. We work continuously so that our site and service are comfortable and available to everyone.
The site’s accessibility standard
The site was built and made accessible in accordance with:
- The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013
- The Israeli Standard SI 5568, at level AA
- The international WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines of the W3C
Accessibility adjustments made on the site
- The site is adapted to common browsers and to screens of all sizes, including mobile phones and tablets
- You can browse and navigate the site using the keyboard alone, including a “skip to content” link at the top of every page
- The focus indicator is clearly marked when moving between links, buttons and fields
- The heading structure on the pages is hierarchical and clear, for easy navigation with a screen reader too
- Meaningful images have alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Dropdown menus, questions and answers and pop-up windows can be opened and closed with the keyboard (including the Esc key)
- You can enlarge the text size up to 200% using the browser, without losing content
- Anyone who has set “reduce motion” on their device will receive the site without animations
- The color contrast between text and background meets the requirements of the standard
- The videos on the site play without sound, and do not flash
Content that is not fully accessible
Despite our efforts, some content on the site may not yet be fully accessible, for example external systems integrated into the site (such as the payment processing system) or files uploaded in the past. We continue to improve accessibility gradually.
Physical accessibility at the business
Holy Bagel does not receive walk-in customers. You can order on the website, by phone or on WhatsApp, and the order is delivered to your home or event venue.
If you choose self pickup, you collect the order at Ramot Mall, 251 Golda Meir Blvd, Jerusalem. The mall has elevators, convenient access routes, accessible parking in its car park and accessible restrooms. To arrange an accommodation for pickup, contact the accessibility coordinator.
Ran into an accessibility problem?
We would be glad to hear from you. So that we can handle your inquiry in the best way, it is recommended to specify:
- A description of the problem and which page it appears on
- The action you tried to perform
- The type of browser and device
- The assistive technology you used, if any
We will try to get back to you and handle the inquiry as soon as possible.
