Mini Sandwiches

Sometimes what guests really want is a small, simple sandwich that does the job. Mini round rolls spread with soft spreads: cream cheeses, egg salad and tuna salad, topped with vegetables. No surprises, just familiar flavors in bite-size form.

The large tray has 20 mini sandwiches and the small has 12. They are especially good for events with children, class parties, a bris morning, office meetings, and any gathering with guests of all ages. Each roll is eaten by hand, and you can take two without feeling like you ate a whole meal. Ordered next to more elaborate trays, it keeps the balance: whoever wants to be adventurous heads there, and whoever wants familiar flavors knows exactly where to go.

This tray is the quiet foundation of a good hosting table. It does not compete with the colorful trays, it completes them, and makes sure even the pickiest guest finds something they like. The tray is dairy.

Which size should I order?

The large tray holds 20 mini sandwiches and the small holds 12. The small fits when the mini sandwiches are one of several trays on the table, and the large when they are a central part of the refreshments.
