Lettuce and Fruit Salad

A green salad with a sweet side: lettuce, baby leaves and sprouts, topped with cranberries, dried fruit and fresh fruit according to the season.

The fruit adds sweetness to the freshness of the leaves, and every spoonful looks a little different. The salad suits especially well a table with salty cheeses or hot dishes, because it refreshes between them. Serve it as is and eat it with a fork. The green leaves and sprouts give it a fresh, light base, and the cranberries and fruit scatter dots of color over it.

Thanks to the vegan and pareve marking, every guest can eat from it. The fresh fruit is set by the season, and the size is up to you: large for a full table, small for smaller hosting. It is also in the starting lineup of the events menus, and at a brit or bar mitzvah table it stands nicely next to the lasagna and the cheeses, adding a sweet, colorful touch.
